STU Athletics & Recreation Celebrates 2024-25 Season at Annual Banquet
Fredericton, NB – St. Thomas University hosted its annual Athletics Banquet yesterday, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our student-athletes during the 2024-2025 academic year. The event, held at the Fredericton Inn, united athletes, coaches, and supporters to honor excellence and dedication within our athletic programs. It was a night filled with fun and great memories.
At STU Athletics & Recreation we had a busy 2024-25 season of competition as well as great initiatives led by the St. Thomas Student-Athlete Council like the Tommie’s Food Drive, our Sport for All weekend, Think Pink initiatives in partnership with the Chalmers Foundation, our first ever STU International Football Night and more. We also hosted the CCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship and the CCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship, showcasing Fredericton and St. Thomas to universities and colleges from across Canada.
During the banquet, STU Athletics & Recreation announced the major award winners and team award recipients, including the Coastal Graphics Athletes of the Year and the LeRoy Washburn Community Service Award.
