The St. Thomas University Tommies put up a tough fight against the Holland College Hurricanes but fell short 114-81 in ACAA men's basketball action Wednesday night at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.
Sam Drummond led the way for the Tommies collecting 16 points, while Travis Valanne wasn't far behind with 15.
Jace Colley sparked the Hurricanes with 21 points.
The Tommies will look to bounce back this weekend against the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams and the UNBSJ Seawolves.
