Head Coach John Hickey announces Colin Loughery as first recruit.

A product of Kennebecassis Valley High School in Quispamsis, Loughery will join the new look Tommies for the 2019-2020 Season. He is known for his scoring and defensive prowess, having tallied 1000 points and 1000 rebounds over his career with the KVHS Crusaders.

Colin plans to complete his Bachelor of Arts with the intent to enter into the prestigious Education program. "Knowing the high quality of learning while at St. Thomas University while continuing to play basketball will help fulfill my next step after high school," the 6'3 power foward mentions.  "I'm looking forward to the accountability that Coach Hickey will bring to practices, studies, and games, because I want to be a work horse on and off the court.  I'm excited to step up my level of play in the collegiate ranks."

Coach John Hickey is very excited to have Loughery join the squad. "Colin comes as advertised in terms of his work ethic. We expect that practices are going to be very competitive this season with his added intensity."
