Gayo Isaya has been named the top defender in the ACAA for a second consecutive season.  

Isaya finished the season with 30 steals, landing himself 11th in the ACAA. His six rebounds per game was also 11th. Isaya gave the ACAA top scorers trouble all season, helping the Tommies focus on one of the top offenses in the league. 

“One of my roles on this team is to play elite defense, so I try to lead the way,” Isaya said. “I’m glad our hard work is being recognized.” 

Isaya was also named to the ACAA All-Conference Second Team. Isaya averaged 12.9 points per game.
