Brady Herbert Joins Men's Basketball Program for 2024-25 Season

St. Thomas University Athletics is excited to announce the addition of Brady Herbert to the men's basketball team. Hailing from Hartland, New Brunswick, Brady brings with him a wealth of talent and a deep-rooted passion for the game.

Brady's basketball journey began on the courts of Hartland, where he showcased his skills as a shooting guard and small forward for the varsity boys basketball team since grade 9. His dedication to the sport led him to represent Team New Brunswick U17 for two consecutive summers, where he further honed his craft and earned valuable experience on the provincial stage.

As he joins the Tommies, Brady will be transitioning to a forward position, bringing with him an all-around game highlighted by a formidable three-point shot. His versatility and scoring prowess will undoubtedly bolster the team's offensive arsenal.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the high-level basketball program at STU," said Brady. "The competitive atmosphere among the players and staff has already made me feel at home. I'm excited to contribute to the team's success both on and off the court."

In addition to his athletic pursuits, Brady will be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on psychology. He is drawn to the welcoming and competitive nature of the program at STU, and has spoken highly of his interactions with Coach John Hickey and the supportive community surrounding the team.

"We are delighted to welcome Brady to the Tommies family," said Coach John Hickey. "His talent, work ethic, and dedication to the game make him an excellent addition to our team. We look forward to seeing Brady thrive both academically and athletically at St. Thomas University."
