Fredericton - STU Tommies battled hard but fell just short in a thrilling matchup against the Holland Hurricanes, with the visitors clinching an 85-83 victory at the LB Gym.
The Tommies came out firing, dominating the first quarter and riding their momentum to a solid 48-37 lead at halftime.
Holland stormed back in the third, fueled by a relentless offense to erase the deficit and knot the game at 65-65 heading into the final quarter.
The fourth quarter was a back-and-forth battle, but in the closing minutes, the Hurricanes stepped up with key plays to secure the narrow win.
