Fredericton, NB - STU Tommies put up a strong fight but ultimately fell 79-72 to the Crandall Chargers at the LB Gym.
Crandall came out firing, taking control early with a dominant first quarter, leading 22-12. Despite a resilient effort from the Tommies to cut the deficit, the Chargers maintained their momentum, scoring another 26 points in the second quarter to head into halftime with the advantage.
STU showed improvement in the second half, displaying signs of a comeback in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough to overcome Crandall's lead.
Marc Hofer led the Chargers with an impressive 26 points, while Vincent Lyttleton was the top scorer for the Tommies with 22 points.
The Tommies will look to bounce back in their next matchup as they continue their season at home.
