The St. Thomas University Tommies played to a 2-2 draw against the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics in ACAA men's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Scotiabank Park South.
The Tommies opened the scoring when Kyle Yearwood scored on a penalty kick drawn with an illegal tackle.
The Mystics responded when striker Ghairat Meevegul scored on a penalty kick in the 58th minute and again on a free kick in the 72nd minute to give the Mystics a 2-1 lead. The lead was short lived as Tommies striker David Effiong scored to tie the game up at two apiece, which stood as the final score.
The Tommies are back in action Sunday afternoon when the University of Kings College Blue Devils visit Scotiabank Park South at 12:00pm.
