The St. Thomas University Tommies and the UNB Saint John Seawolves played to a 2-2 draw in ACAA men's soccer action Sunday afternoon in Saint John.

The Tommies led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Kyle Yearwood before Thomas Barbara tied the game early in the second off a corner kick. The Tommies responded to grab a 2-1 lead when Yearwood scored his second goal of the game on a terrific shot from outside the 18-yard box. The Seawolves countered when Tinodaishe Mhlango knocked the ball in the net during a goal line scramble with three minutes left in regulation time.

The Seawolves outshot the Tommies 11-7 and had five corners to the Tommies one. Both teams now have a record of 0-1-2. 

The Tommies are back in action Wednesday when they host the Crandall University Chargers. Kickoff is at 8:00 pm.
