Tommies soccer program is very happy to announce another recruit to their busy offseason.  Brayden Cullen is transferring to the Tommies after one year playing in the OUA with the Algoma Thunderbirds.

Coach JR Morrison is very happy to be adding an experienced body like Brayden to his backline.

“Brayden had 8 starts as a rookie in the OUA playing against some of the best strikers in the country and that experience will prove invaluable on our squad with the departure of experienced backs in James Hill and Eric Prior.”

“I have actually been after Brayden since 2018 and unfortunately lost out on him to another school but he approached me after first semester and I am glad he did,” added Morrison. “He is a confident and technical defender with a good soccer IQ.”

Cullen chose St. Thomas to experience a new challenge on the East Coast of Canada.

“Coming to STU will allow me to play for a great team with a competitive atmosphere, while obtaining a great education.”

“I will bring hard work and dedication to my team and academics,” said Cullen about what he will bring to Tommies Nation. “I will give everything I have to my teammates and coach and hopefully we can but together a great season and playoff run.”
