The St. Thomas University Tommies followed through with a 3-2 win against the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves on Sunday evening in Fredericton.

The Tommies were led by Christian Christie and Josh Dorey, who collected 13 and 11 kills, respectively.

Luke O'Grady paced the Seawolves with 13 kills and Zane Hamilton chipped in with nine.

After winning their first set, the Tommies faced a tough battle with the Seawolves, on route to a close five-set match. Set scores were 25-11, 22-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-10.

STU is in action again Wednesday, January 17 where they will take on the Seawolves at the University of New Brunswick campus in Saint John, NB. First serve is at 6:00 pm.
