Tommies Face Tough Defeat 3-0 Against Hurricanes
Fredericton, NB - STU Tommies faced a tough defeat as the Holland Hurricanes dominated the match at LB Gym, securing a 3-0 victory.
 
With a strong lead in the first set, the Hurricanes surged to a 25-13 victory over the Tommies, setting the tone for the match. Although the Tommies showed some fight in the second set, the Hurricanes maintained their momentum, securing a 25-21 win.
 
Determined not to let the match extend further, the Hurricanes sealed the deal with a decisive 25-15 win in the third set, clinching the victory 3-0.
 
The game saw a standout performance by Holland, while the Tommies struggled to find their footing. With this loss, the Tommies suffered their second consecutive defeat against the Hurricanes. 
 
Nathan Willis led the Hurricanes with 11 kills, while Brenton Romanchuk led for the Tommies with 10 kills.
 
Next up, tomorrow the Tommies face a tough challenge against the number one seed USTA, while Holland looks to carry their momentum into their matchup against the Saint John Seawolves.
