Fredericton, NB - Tommies battled back from an early deficit to defeat the UNB Saint John Seawolves 3-1 at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.
UNBSJ opened strong, taking the first set 25-20, but the Tommies responded in dominant with a 25-14 win in the second to even the match. STU carried that momentum into the third, securing a 25-16 victory to take the lead. The fourth set proved to be a tight battle, but the Tommies prevailed 25-23 to close out the match.
With this hard-fought win, the Tommies continue their strong form as they get ready for playoffs happening soon.
