Tommies Land First Recruit For 2025-2026 Season
While the 2024-2025 regular season has yet to begin, the St. Thomas University men’s volleyball has already locked up its first recruit for next season.
Evan Mosley, a 6’6 middle from Crossfield, Alberta has made his commitment to the program for the 2025-2026 season.
A talented blocker, Mosley is an integral member of Canuck Volleyball Club, a club based out of Calgary that has been a force in the Alberta Volleyball club circuit for many years. The program is well connected to Canuck, having previously recruited former STU men's volleyball captain Adam McDougall from the club.
His impact on campus will be imminent, according to head coach Henri Mallet.
“We are very lucky to land Evan. He checks a lot of boxes for us. He is an extremely hard-working athlete and student, has played at a competitive level and brings size and athleticism to the court,” said Mallet.
For Mosley, his goals are simple. Improve and compete at a high level.
“I’m looking forward to improving as a player by working with experienced teammates and a great coaching staff, as well as competing at a higher level. Academically, I want to excel in my studies while balancing the athletic side,” said Mosley.
“Most of all I'd like to help the team achieve its competitive goals of winning a national championship.”
The St. Thomas University men’s volleyball team looks forward to welcoming Evan Mosley to the team next season!
