The St. Thomas University Tommies fell 67-43 to the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics in ACAA women's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Halifax. 

The Tommies got off to a slow start and were trailing 19-7 after the first quarter. Despite settling in throughout the second, the Tommies were behind 34-19 after 20 minutes. 

A lopsided third quarter that favoured the Mystics put the Tommies in tough for the final frame and, despite winning the last quarter, they were unable to close the gap. 

Jayme Hunt led the Tommies with 15 points and eight rebounds in the loss. 

The Mystics were sparked by Kate Gallant, who tallied 16 points and eight rebounds. Nyka Riego added 12 points and two steals.
