The St. Thomas University Tommies were bested 92-76 by the Holland College Hurricanes in ACAA women's basketball action Sunday in Charlottetown.

Jayla Verney led all scorers with 24 points, two assists and two steals. Cassie Cooke recorded a triple-double in the win, with 18 points, 16 rebounds, and 16 assists.

The Tommies were sparked by Jessica Patenaude, who had 17 points and nine rebounds. Jayme Hunt added 12 points and Carissa McTague chipped in with 10 points and 11 rebounds. 

The Tommies finish the regular season with a record of 9-9.
