Fredericton, NB- The Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics defeated the St. Thomas University Tommies 67-51.

Kelsey Crocker got the Mystics out to a hot start dropping 17 points in the first half as they would open up a 34-19 lead at halftime.

The Tommies struggled to get into an offensive rhythm with the Mystics' stifling defensive pressure.

STU was paced on offence by Emily Owens (Fredericton, NB) who had 14 points on 60% shooting, and Vanessa Soffee (Fredericton, NB) who had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
