Tommies Dominate 77-44 Over UNBSJ

St. Thomas University dominated from the outset, securing a convincing 77-44 win against UNB Saint John. 

The Tommies dominated from the start, claiming the first quarter 18-10 and steadily extending their lead to 38-23 by halftime.

The third quarter saw the Tommies maintain their momentum, once again winning the quarter 58-36.

The final score at Lady Beaverbrook Gym was 77-44 for the home team (STU) over UNBSJ. Reegan Kerr earned the Player of the Game title for STU with 11 points, 1 assist, and 6 rebounds, while Charlee Connors contributed significantly with 18 points, 1 assist, and 8 rebounds. Bailey Henderson led the Seawolves with 9 points, 1 assist, and 5 rebounds.

The weather has affected game schedules; therefore, there has been some rescheduling, but as of now, STU will host Crandall on Friday, 16th, while UNBSJ will face MTA on Saturday, 17th. 

Reegan Kerr commented after the game: "Our intensity was good throughout the game, happy with the win; it shows the work we have been putting in practice, we need to keep the same intensity for the rest of the season."
