Charlee Hall Joins Women's Basketball for 2025-26
Fredericton, NB – St. Thomas University Athletics and Recreation is excited to announce the addition of Charlee Hall to the Tommies women’s basketball program. Hailing from Woodstock, NB, Charlee brings a strong work ethic, quickness, and shooting ability to the team as a guard.
Hall, a player from Woodstock High School, is eager to contribute to the Tommies with her basketball knowledge, communication skills, and teamwork.
"I plan on bringing a strong and focused work ethic and a collaborative mindset to the Tommies program. I’m passionate about basketball and excited for the opportunity to contribute to this program," said Hall.
Beyond basketball, Hall is an all-around athlete, enjoying golf and skiing as part of her extracurricular interests. She is excited about the dynamic environment at STU and looks forward to learning from head coach Fred Connors.
Head Coach Fred Connors commented on the new signing, "I have had the chance to watch Charlee play a few times this year and last. I was in Woodstock when she hit 8 3s and scored 34 points. It was an impressive show that she put on. But what I like most about her is her willingness to guard and rebound and do the little things that help teams win. I am looking forward to her growth in our program".
Academically, Hall is drawn to St. Thomas University’s small class sizes and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with peers and faculty. She plans to pursue studies in criminology and psychology with aspirations of becoming a criminal psychologist.
"I’m eager to work and play in this environment, knowing the connections I can make with my teammates. Coach Connors has years of experience, is great with feedback, and pays attention to detail, which will help me grow as a player."
St. Thomas University women's basketball is thrilled to welcome Charlee Hall as their first recruit for next season and looks forward to seeing her make an impact both on the court and in the classroom.
