Reflecting on the game, Ekaterina Pelowich, now tied with Polurde for the league's leading goals, commented, "I think we battled really hard all the way until the end. It's rewarding; we have been putting a lot of effort into practices, tomorrow will be a big game. We are right behind SMU, but I think tonight's victory should help for tomorrow as well. Hopefully, we can get a win and keep the momentum going."
