Tommies Win at Grant Harvey Field 91-10

Fredericton, NB St Thomas Tommies claimed victory against DAL AC at Grant Harvey Field. STU Tommies maintained their lead throughout the game and secured a 91-10 win. 

The game started with Tommies scoring quick tries and extending their lead to halftime. St Thomas relentless offence and sturdy defence left DAL AC struggling to keep up. The game concluded early due to a shortage of players from the opposing team(DAL AC), highlighting the Tommies overwhelming performance. In the midst of this rugby spectacle, Savannah Simon had a fantastic performance earning the well-deserved title of Player of the Match. 

Despite the score and falling short towards the end, DAL AC players demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and a positive attitude. DAL AC showcased determination and gave their best effort until the end, reflecting their resilience on the field. Savannah Simon acknowledged DAL AC's determination, saying, "Very well played game for us. DAL AC had a very good attitude; most teams facing player shortages might feel discouraged, but they pushed themselves and gave their best. 

"The game against UNB will be a tough game, but we are excited to play" Simon commented on their next game. 

The next game for STU Tommies will be against UNB on Oct 22, while DAL AC will visit Mount Allison.
