The St. Thomas University Tommies edged the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves 1-0 in ACAA women's soccer action Wednesday night at Scotiabank Park South.
The Tommies got on the board when striker Nikita McCartney scored the lone goal of the match off a breakaway shot to the bottom corner of the Seawolves net in the 80 minute.
The Tommies outshot the Seawolves 15-3 in the match.
The Tommies, who are now 5-2-1 on the season, are back in action Saturday when they visit the University of King's College Blue Devils in Halifax.
