The St. Thomas University Tommies fell to the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams 2-1 in ACAA women's soccer action Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank Park South.

The Tommies struck in the first minute on an own goal from Rams keeper Summer Nasr, who knocked the loose ball into her own net off a shot from Nikita McCartney.

The Rams responded when Sian Rankin blasted a shot from the top of the goal crease in the 57 minute to tie the game at 1-1.

The Rams weren't done there as Katie Walsh found the ball at the top of the 18-yard box and flipped it over Tommies keeper Mary Cronin, giving the Rams a 2-1 lead in the 75 minute.

The Tommies are back in action next weekend when they head to the ACAA Soccer Championships in Saint John.
