Alice Vautour Commits to STU Women's Soccer Program
Fredericton, NB – St. Thomas University Women's Soccer team is thrilled to announce the addition of Alice Vataour from Harvey, NB to their roster for next season. Hailing from the highly esteemed FDSA Premiership program, the winger/wingback brings a wealth of skill and determination to the team.
 
The newest addition to the STU Women's Soccer team comes with a formidable background, having honed her craft at the FDSA Premiership level. With a relentless drive and exceptional agility on the field, she is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
 
"Alice is a fantastic person and a very dynamic player. She brings great energy to the group and always gives 110%. We are very excited to have her join our 2024 class" said David Itoafa. 
 
When asked about her decision to join St. Thomas University, the recruit expressed her excitement about the opportunity to continue her academic and athletic pursuits while remaining close to home. Choosing STU allows her to balance her passion for soccer with her academic ambitions as she embarks on her journey towards a Bachelor of Arts in Education.
 
"I've always dreamed of playing collegiate soccer while pursuing my academic goals," said the recruit. "St. Thomas University provides the perfect environment for me to thrive both on and off the field, allowing me to live at home while studying."
 
In addition to her academic interests, the recruit is eager to contribute to the team's success and aligns perfectly with the coaching staff's ambitious vision for the program. With a shared commitment to excellence, she is determined to elevate the team to new heights and compete at the highest level.

"My ultimate goal is to educate and inspire the next generation," she explained. "By pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Education, I hope to make a positive impact in the lives of others and contribute to the betterment of society."
