Fredericton, NB- STU Tommies faced a tough challenge at home, falling 4-0 to Holland College.
The match started with good back and forth and scoring chances on both sides as the teams fought to take an early lead in a crucial game with important playoff implications.
Holland took control, with Karissa George scoring the opener, Tommies had some opportunities but were denied by Holland's Goalkeeper
The hurricanes added a second goal just before halftime in the 45th minute to go up 2-0.
The Tommies shook things up with some key roster adjustments heading into the second half and started with lots of pressure and a shot off the crossbar.
The second half saw Holland creating more scoring opportunities, extending the lead to 3-0.
In the 89th minute, Holland sealed the win with a fourth goal.
The Tommies will look to bounce back in their next match against DAL AC on Sunday October 6th, while Holland heads to UNBSJ.
