The St. Thomas University Tommies defeated the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams in ACAA women's volleyball action three sets to one.

The set scores were 25-15, 25-23, 25-22, and 25-14.

The Tommies dominated the first set, but the second was a defensive showdown that resulted in a win for the Rams. The Tommies bounced back in the third and responded with a close set win of their own to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

The fourth set was similar to the first, with the Tommies dominating the tempo and denying the Rams any chance to mount a comeback.

Jessica Barna had a big day on the court amassing 15 kills. Leading the way for the Rams was Thea McLachlin, who registered 18 kills.

The Tommies are back in action when they host the first place Holland College Hurricanes next Saturday at 6:00pm at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.
