In a tight match played Sunday morning in Church Point, St. Thomas defeated Sainte-Anne three sets to two.

Set scores were 25-15, 22-25, 25-23, 28-30, 16-14.

Deidre Jones led the attack for the Tommies with 12 kills, while Jessica Barna and Megan Mills added 10 each.

The Dragons were led by Sarah Theriault with 12 kills and 5 aces, Melina Losier added nine, and Tyra Joe chipped in with seven. Marise Gionet had a remarkable defensive match, leading all players with 27 digs.
