The St. Thomas University Tommies fell to the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics 3-0 in ACAA women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.

The set scores were 25-20, 25-14, 25-22.

The Tommies struggled defensively, giving Mount Saint Vincent plenty of opportunities to pad their lead. This was an issue for the home team all game and played a key role in the Mystics taking the first two sets.

The Tommies turned things around early in the third set and jumped to a quick lead, but the Mystics battled back and eventually edged the Tommies 25-22 to take a 3-0 win.

Hannah Millier led the Tommies with seven kills.

The Mystics were led by Madison Urquhart, who also tallied seven kills.

The Tommies are back in action tomorrow when the Mount Allison Mounties visit the Tommies at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym at 1:00pm.
