Rebecca Pippy, from Bridgewater NS, will join the STU Women's Volleyball season for the 2019-20 season.  Rebecca was a member of her school's Division 1 volleyball team that won the NSSAF Western Region Championships this year and is also a member of the Bridgewater Chill U18s and a member of her school Track and Field Team.

She is a strong academic and community minded. Coach McKay is excited to have her on board. "She knows how to manage her time, do well academically and athletically. Rebecca and her teams have experienced success, she is a hard worker, a fast learner, has some size and is a great person. I look forward to working with her next year."

Rebecca is really looking forward to coming to STU, "St. Thomas University offers me an opportunity to study science and technology with a liberal arts focus, while playing volleyball. It's everything I have worked towards for the last six years. I have heard only positive things about this school and I can't wait to be a Tommie".
