Dominant 3-0 Win for STU against USTA

Fredericton, NB - The match belonged to the Tommies, who claimed a commanding 3-0 victory and added another win at home. The overall performance demonstrated STU's superiority throughout the game.

The Tommies set the tone early, dominating the first set with a score of 25-8. The second set proved to be a close contest, with the Tommies narrowly securing a win at 31-29. 

The third and final set saw STU Tommies maintaining their dominance, finishing strong with a 25-11 victory. 

"We all played together; we were strong, we didn't give up, and even when we were down, we were able to come back" Madi MacGregor said

Both teams displayed skill and determination, and despite the outcome, credit is due to USTA for their commendable efforts. 

Notables for the game were Katia Ivanov with five kills for USTA while Kathleen Boyle led the team with eight kills for STU Tommies. USTA had 17 kills in total, while STU had 35. 

"I think having the break will be good, a good reset for the team in order to come back stronger for next semester," Madi MacGregor commented after the game

Teams will be back in action next semester; USTA will play Holland on January 13th, while STU Tommies will play UKC on January 13th as well.
