Tommies Dominate on Think Pink Game Against Seawolves
Fredericton, NB - In a commanding performance on home court, STU Tommies secured a 3-0 victory over UNB Saint John Seawolves on Think Pink Game.
 
The Tommies set the tone early, securing the first set with a decisive 25-18 victory, showcasing strong serves and a solid defense.
 
Maintaining their momentum, STU continued their dominance in the second set, executing precise plays and capitalizing on the Seawolves' errors to secure another 25-18 win.
 
The third set saw a tight battle, with both teams trading points, near the end teams were tied 18-18  until Tommies pulled ahead to have a final surge to clinch the set 25-21, sealing the win at home.
 
Tommies demonstrated solid teamwork, which led them to a 3-0 sweep over the UNB Saint John Seawolves.
 
Kathleen Boyle led the Tommies to victory with 14 kills and 5 Digs, while Dominique Gendron led the Seawolves with 10 kills and 4 Digs.
 
Boyle expressed her satisfaction on the win after the game: "Im very happy, I think this game has to be one of the best games we have played in a long time, we have been on a losing streak but we came strong today, Im really proud of the team performance."
