St. Thomas University Welcomes Avalon LeBlanc
Fredericton, NB – St. Thomas University women's volleyball is excited to announce the addition of their 4th recruit for the 2024-25 season. Hailing from Salisbury, NB, Avalon LeBlanc brings dedication to the program.
Playing as a libero, Avalon LeBlanc has developed her skills with Fuzion Volleyball Club, based in Moncton. Her strong defensive play and court awareness will be valuable assets to the Tommies as they continue to build a strong team for next season.
"I will bring leadership, intensity, and teamwork to the team," said Leblanc. "I'm excited to contribute to a program that is committed to excellence both on and off the court."
LeBlanc chose St. Thomas University as she looks forward to exploring new academic opportunities while continuing to play the sport she loves. With a keen interest in psychology, she is eager to immerse herself in STU’s academic environment while also competing at a high level.
"I know that the volleyball program will excel in the next couple of years, and I know that because of the dedication and passion Coach Kim has for the game and her team. She is not only a great coach but an even better person," she added.
Over the past five years, volleyball has been LeBlanc’s main focus, and her commitment to the sport reflects her drive to improve and contribute to a winning culture. Her leadership and intensity will be key components as the Tommies continue their pursuit of success.
St. Thomas University Athletics and Recreation looks forward to seeing LeBlanc make an impact both academically and athletically.
