The Tommies cross country team competed in their first AUS event with positive results. 

Chelsey Hall was the team's top runner, completing the 6km course in 27:43 and placing 48th out of 75 athletes. Coming in behind Hall was Clarisse Nicolas, who crossed the finish line at 31:13. 

Second-year runner Noelle Gouchie shaved three minutes off last year's time, finishing in 33:17, while Alexandra Hachey and Jensen Eliott came in with times of 37:05 and 39:05, respectively. 

The Tommies are setting their sights on faster times for the STU/UNB hosted event on October 15 at Odell Park.
