The St. Thomas Tommies snapped their losing streak with a 1-1 draw against the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics in ACAA soccer action Sunday afternoon.

The first goal was scored by Tom Wilding in the 64 minute when the Mystics were awarded an indirect free kick within the 18 yard box. The Tommies capitalized in the 80 minute when midfielder Kyle Yearwood found the ball in a scramble and tapped it past the Mystics goalkeeper to tie the game, 1-1l.

The Tommies are back in action next Saturday when they visit the Holland Hurricanes in what will be the concluding weekend of the season. 

Prior to kickoff, senior players Greg Young, Guillermo Bergeron, Didier Lubilanji, Nicolas Levesque, and Oliver Dussault were recognized for their dedication to the Tommies soccer program.
